Dear St. Gabriel Parishioners:

… HAPPY FEAST OF THE BLESSED HOLY TRINITY …

In one Gospel’s reading, Jesus says: “….  I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.  But when He comes, the Spirit of truth, He will guide you to all truth”.

Theologians describe the Trinity with two different terms:  Creation and Salvation.  The Blessed Trinity’s works of creation and salvation both serve as windows into the inner life of the Trinity.  The work of Creation is “exterior of God” and the work of Salvation is “interior of God”.  On this Sunday’s solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, we can reflect on God’s works of creation and salvation as a way to peer into God’s inner life as the Trinity.

Our local Church in the Archdiocese of Seattle and particularly from St. Gabriel Parish continues on the Annual Catholic Appeal Campaign for 2022 and to ensure A future full of hope.  I invite you to please consider in prayerful way, to make a gift to support the ACA this year.  I’m convinced that with your help and support, together, we will fulfill our parish goal this year.  I’m counting on each of you to join with me in supporting the common Ministries that we share together as a local Church of the Archdiocese of Seattle.  Please see in this bulletin for an update of our parish goal.

“Priest Days” are here again for the “Seattle PresbyteratePriests of the Archdiocese of Seattle” for our annual gathering and study, this year in person from June 20-23.  There will not be any daily Masses from Tuesday and Wednesday June 21-22; Liturgy of the Words and Communion will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Church.  There will be Mass at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 24.  Remember to pray for all of us, priests, as we gather on this annual Priest Days.

The Solemnity of Corpus Christi honors the real presence of the body (corpus) of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, which includes a procession of the Blessed Sacrament displayed in a monstrance.  Join us in person at St. James Cathedral or watch Livestream on Vimeo or @ArchdioceseofSeattle on Facebook.

May the Joy and Blessing of the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity continue to help us actively involved in the Ministry of Jesus in our Church’s today.  While enjoying the summer rest, please don’t forget our parish – St. Gabriel
